AAE has been contracted by the GCF under a long-term agreement (LTA) that establishes its inclusion in the GCF’s roster of consulting firms designated to support Direct Access Entities (DAEs) under the Readiness Support stream. AAE has been assigned to Lots 1 and 2 of the roster, based on its specific areas of expertise.
Lot 1 focuses on the development of policy, legislative, and regulatory frameworks that effectively support ambitious climate action and investment. Lot 2 relates to climate investment design and implementation, including strategic pipeline planning, project development, sector-specific knowledge in adaptation and mitigation strategies, and cross-sectoral interactions.
Within both lots, AAE will be tasked with assisting entities in the area of vulnerability and resilience, supporting countries with both higher levels of climate vulnerability and weaker policy and administrative capacity, as well as the knowledge management and learning area, facilitating the development of foundational knowledge and institutional frameworks necessary to enable effective and sustained climate action.
