AAE has been contracted by KfW to carry out the environmental and social scoping/screening of three renewable energy generation projects — including solar photovoltaic and wind — each with an installed capacity ranging from 30 to 50 MW. These projects are currently in the pre-investment phase and are being developed by the National Electricity Company (ENDE). The results of this assessment will support the selection of one project for which a full Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) will be undertaken at a later stage.
