Development of a full-fledged project document (PRODOC) titled "Enhance the adaptive capacity to floods and water security in Sâo Tomé and Principe"

UNDP Sao Tomé and Principe hired AAE to develop the full PRODOC, the CEO endorsement request and all necessary documents for submission to GEF Sec for approval in June 2025.

AAE will carry out the assignment through the following components

• Component A: Preparatory Technical Reviews & Studies and Stakeholder Consultations
• Component B: Formulation of the UNDP-GEF Project Document, CEO Endorsement Request, and Mandatory and Project Specific Annexes
• Component C: Validation Workshop and Report

The final expected outputs of the GEF Project Preparation Grant (PPG) are

1. UNDP-GEF Project Document (ProDoc)
2. Mandatory annexes to the ProDoc, including gender analysis and action plan, and stakeholder engagement plan, among others, and project-specific annexes
3. GEF CEO Endorsement Request and all mandatory annexes; and
4. Validation Workshop report (required for projects with a high SESP categorization, as appropriate for all others)
