The purpose of the project is to enhance the capacity of CCCCC to plan and implement innovative and transformative projects that address the needs of its member countries and align with the requirements of various funding agencies.

To achieve this purpose, AAE has been contracted to finalise a consolidated Manual for Program and Project Development Management (PPDM), which includes the development of a grant scheme, and which will serve as a key guide for both current and future staff of CCCCC's Project Development and Management Unit, as well as for co-implementing agencies, implementing partners, and contracted consultants. The updating of this manual will be carried out in a participatory manner, through consultations and interviews with various key stakeholders. Additionally, upon completion, training sessions will be organised for CCCCC staff.

The existence of this clear guidance document will ensure that CCCCC can enhance the effectiveness of its projects and the efficiency of their implementation, ultimately expediting the flow of climate financing to the most vulnerable people in the Caribbean.
