Awareness raising and capacity building to CAF's staff in Montevideo's Office in Uruguay

The objective of the project was to raise awareness among CAF staff and training sessions on environmental issues. CAF has its Institutional Environmental Management System (SIGA) to follow up on its commitments and environmental operation strategy. Within that framework, AAE supported CAF in raising awareness about the environmental component in daily activities, its contribution to the institutional carbon footprint and environmental protection actions.

Main tasks

• Raise awareness among CAF staff about the environmental situation
• Organization and Development of activities inside and outside CAF offices to disseminate CAF's commitments and improve environmental performance
• Make recommendations on steps to follow.

• Awareness talk on global environmental situation, environmental situation in Uruguay and local aspects
