AAE was hired by Conservation International to review the current Amazon Sustainable Landscapes (ASL) GEF Project Management arrangements to ensure they are optimal for delivering on the project’s ambitious targets.

Main tasks

  • Conduct document review and interviews with CI staff as well as partners (World Bank, government, etc.)
  • Review the current project management arrangements to determine if they are optimal to meet the desired project results
  • Determine if CI systems and staffing are appropriate to ensure high quality project delivery
  • Identify any remaining gaps in project management arrangements

Main outputs

  • Recommend changes required to ensure high quality project delivery
  • Write a final report with recommendations
