María Dolores Almeida
She has 20 years of experience in public finance; Environmental financing; Fiscal decentralization; Financial and economic evaluation of projects; among others. She has held public positions as Deputy Minister of Finance and Under Secretary for Public Investment, in Ecuador, among others. She has been a consultant in finance for international organizations such as the Inter-American Development Bank, World Bank, German Technical Cooperation, UN Women, UNICEF, UNEP and ECLAC.
Also, she has participated in the design and formulation of important legal norms for Ecuador, such us: the Organic Code of Territorial Organization, Autonomy and Decentralization; Organic Code of Decentralization and Public Finance; and the Law on Recovery of Public Resources and Environmental Development.
