UNDP´s El Salvador sustainable development and resilience focal point (climate change, environment, recovery and risk reduction focal point) for the last 16 years. Has played a pivotal role as UNDP advisor to government, civil society, and communities, providing leadership, policy advice and technical support on climate change, environment, and disaster risk reduction, preparing and managing programs, projects and activities.

Her expertise extends to effective application of RBM tools, establishment of management targets (BSC) and monitoring achievement of results. Under her responsibilities she has provided strategic oversight of planning, budgeting, implementing and monitoring of the programme/projects, tracking use of financial resources in accordance with rules and regulations, follow up on audit recommendations, providing reports on activities, outputs and outcomes and preparation of donor reports.
